October 2026 on Sharp Bets: every pick, the CLV and what we changed
Every pick we posted in October, how it did against the closing line and on the scoreboard, and what we changed during the month. Losses included.
Average CLV
+2.60%
95% range 2.28 – 2.92
Result (units)
-6.9u
ROI -0.1%
In October the bot posted 3,840 picks. Their average closing line value was +2.60% (95% range +2.28% to +2.92%), and 67.5% got a better price than the market closed at.
The results were flat: -6.9 units on 3,754 graded picks, a ROI of -0.1%. That isn't a contradiction. Over a month, luck moves results far more than a 2-3% edge does; the variance simulator shows how much. CLV is the part that lasts, which is why the record leads with it.
One price was clearly wrong: on 30 October LeoVegas had India at 7.50 to beat New Zealand while Pinnacle's fair price was about 1.67. The pick stays in the record, as every pick does, and it lost (New Zealand won by 87 runs). At its suggested stake it cost about 27 units, so don't read October's profit without it.
Each bookmaker's own prices, each counted once. Betsson (and NordicBet, which shows Betsson's prices in Sweden) and Hajper beat the close less than half the time in October; we're watching them.
- 3 Oct: checks every 2 minutes around the clock for games starting within six hours.
- 7 Oct: Telegram shows one random pick a day; the rest are on the site.
- 10 Oct: picks found after a game had started are no longer counted (an odds-feed start time moved once a game was under way); the excluded picks are listed openly.
- 17 Oct: seven wrong automatic results were corrected, each with its source; each selection now counts once, at the first price found.
- 17 and 26 Oct: hockey totals at Coolbet and Svenska Spel are no longer compared, because they settle by different rules than Pinnacle.
- 29 Oct: "Wide line" now marks Pinnacle margins over 5%; picks above that had clearly weaker CLV.
- 31 Oct: the bot reads the six Kambi bookmakers' football prices from Kambi directly, about a minute fresher than before.
- 1 Nov: three handicap picks had their closing line calculated wrongly (as low as -70%); they were recalculated from Pinnacle's archive. Details on the method page.
Figures as of 1 November 2026. A few late results may still be graded; the public record always has the current numbers.
