- Average margin: how much the bookmaker builds into its prices, on average per market. At a 5% margin, roughly 95 kronor of every 100 staked across all outcomes comes back. Lower is better for you.
- Best price: how often its odds were the highest, or shared highest, among the bookmakers. Several bookmakers often run on the same odds platform and share prices, so shared best is common.
- Alone best: how often it alone had the highest odds. This is where shopping around pays.
- Within 1%: how often its odds were no more than 1% below the best. A bookmaker that is always close is a safe default.
Which bookmaker has the best odds? Swedish bookmakers measured
Every 30 minutes we compare the odds of the Swedish-licensed bookmakers on the same games. Here is who keeps the least and who most often pays the most, from 14,408 compared markets.
Measured 6 November 2026 to 7 November 2026 (2 days, 48 measuring rounds). The period is still short, so the order can change as more days are added.

How to read it
How we measure
Every 30 minutes the prices our odds feed has for the Swedish-licensed bookmakers are compared, before kickoff. A market counts only when at least 8 bookmakers have odds on every outcome, so each one is compared on the same games.
A game is measured again every 30 minutes while it is on offer, so games that are open longer weigh more. Live odds are not included.
NordicBet is not in the index: in our feed its prices are the same as Betsson's, so it would count the same prices twice.
LeoVegas, Expekt and BetMGM have been left out since 7 November 2026: they moved to a platform of their own, and the prices in our odds source no longer match their sites.
The index updates every 30 minutes and covers the last 30 days. Sharp Bets has no affiliate links and earns nothing from any bookmaker, so nothing here is paid placement.
Common questions
Which bookmaker has the best odds?
Over the measured period, ATG had the lowest average margin on football match odds (5.43%), and Coolbet most often had the best price alone (26.0%). It differs by sport, so the tables show each one.
What is a bookmaker's margin?
The difference between the odds offered and fair odds: the bookmaker's built-in edge. With all outcomes added up (1 divided by each price), anything above 100% is the margin. A lower margin means better odds for you over time.
Is the index paid for by the bookmakers?
No. Sharp Bets has no affiliate links and no deals with any bookmaker. The order comes only from measured prices.
